REMOVING PAINT STAINS FROM YOUR FABRICS IN YOUR MACHINE

We all love taking up crafts or DIY projects from time to time. As happy as you may be with the result, a small paint stain is enough to wreck your mood and your clothes!

Fret not, because this simple procedure is all you need to make those paint stains vanish.

WHAT YOU NEED:

FOLLOW THESE STEPS

  1. Scrape off the excess paint: Start by gently scraping the excess paint from the cloth with the help of a spoon. Make sure that you do this slowly so that the stain doesn’t spread.
  2. Treat the remaining stain: First run the back of the stain under warm water. Then, mix one part of dishwashing liquid with one part warm water. Rub this mixture vigorously against the stain using a sponge to help get rid of it from deep within the fabric. Repeat this process till the stain wears off completely.
  3. Rinse and wash: Once you get rid of the stain, rinse the cloth thoroughly. Proceed by washing it in the machine with Surf excel Matic Front Load or Top Load Detergent along with warm water. You can also opt for the Surf excel Matic liquid instead of the detergent. Simply fill the cap of the bottle with the solution and pour part of it on the stain and rest in the machine’s detergent inlet. Rub the liquid onto the stain with the attached scrubber and toss the garment for a wash in the machine as usual!

Don’t let the fear of a stain let your or your child’s passion for painting take a back seat! Armed with these 3 steps, worries about paint stains are sure to be a thing of the past.
